  Fantastic view and lovely peaceful walks - the arboretum round the other side of the reservoir is fantastic as well. Seems like there is always an ice cream van at the dam ready to serve tasty treats!
  
  Only potential complaint is the temperamental coin operated toilet doors (bring some 20p coins and some luck!) - very frustrating! Round the dam can also be very busy with cars, but there are plenty of walking routes away from the road.
