  Wonderful location in the heart of Dartmoor. The rooms are excellent, with great en suites and very comfortable beds. The service was second to none with very friendly family spirit. The bar tenders were both very funny, likeable and easy to get on with and the family that runs the hotel themselves accepted us as part of their own family for the week and treated us very well. The food is excellent, cooked for us for breakfast and dinner and on Sundays a very good carvery was made for lunch. Overall the feel of the hotel is very homely and very enjoyable to visit.
